Terri Dominick is the daughter of our beloved columnist Kevin Olson. To Terri, knowing IPF as a daughter feels like a roller coaster. The ups are times when life feels “normal ” and her father goes to soccer games, family activities… even when he was forced to wear oxygen out in public.

The downs are those moments when she is reminded that her father has a progressive lung disease, or when they’ve discussed wishes for the end of his life.

Terri’s dad feels better than he did before his double lung transplant, but this, too, is part of the IPF roller coaster.

What about you? As patient or carer, how do you manage the ups and downs?

Terri’s full story is on our Instagram! Go check it out and do give us a follow so you don’t miss out on any #30DaysofPF stories. We want you to feel included in this project 🙂
