Not all clinical trials are successful, but they are all important. It is disappointing when a clinical trial is not successful. It is important because a trial that is not successful eliminates a cause for our disease or allows pharma to stop pursuing a therapy that will not likely be effective.

I have participated in a clinical trial that was cancelled when there was no discernible difference between the drug and the placebo.

Have you been a part of a clinical trial that ended without positive results?

      Lor,

The next time you have an appointment with your care team, please tell them you are interested in participating in clinical trials.
