    I have been having SOB and difficulty drawing in a deep breath for a year or so now. I was diagnosed with hyperinflated lungs, and “mild apical scarring” earlier in the year by a CT scan. I also had a Function Test done and the results are wacky. Tell me what you think.

    FEV-1 = 5.03 liters

    FVC = 6.67 liters

    TLC = 10.47 liters

    RV = 3.57 liters

    RV/TLC = 119%

    They noted high TLC and RV but they said my results are acceptable and reproducible. I’m wondering why they think it’s normal when it seems like the TLC, RV, and RV/TLC are higher than normal.  What do you think?
