<p>My dad passed away yesterday.  We found him sitting at the table.  Had just finished lunch.  There was no sign if distress.  The only peace I have is that it seems he passed quickly.  That was what he wanted.  It must have been his heart. Serrapeptase has helped some people, but it seems that a small percentage get violently ill from it. Not sure why they are saying this is new with COVID.  COVID pneumonia should have been treated like every other pneumonia.  With high doses of steroids right away. They are not treating people.  I find it hard to believe that so many doctors don&#8217;t know that ALL pneumonias get treated with antibiotics or steroids. From what I understand the FDA will only allow 10,000 stem cells, whereas in other parts of the world they give millions.  Just would like to know if even the fewer stem cells can have a positive effect.  Thank you.</p>

You have PF. IPF is Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and that is when there are no known external causes for it, such as exposure to chemicals, etc. From what I understand the IPF means that it&#8217;s an auto immune disease. That the body is creating the fibrosis. What does it mean when oxygen doesn&#8217;t help with breathing.  My dad has lung damage from doctors doing the wait and see with covid pneumonia.  Since they never gave him anything for it, he developed fibrosis.  The oxygen keeps is o2 up, but it doesn&#8217;t help his breathing.  Thank you.</p>

I think the body would take whatever collagen is there, and there is always collagen.  In other words, I don&#8217;t think it matters how much collagen is in your body. I asked my dad&#8217;s pulmonologist if it would be okay for him to take collagen supplements for extra protein, and he said it would be fine.  </p>

He has fibrosis after doctors took the &#8220;do nothing&#8221; approach with his COVID pneumonia.  What was your diagnosis?.</p>

My dad has been having it done three x week.  He had 23 sessions.  Before that he was getting the hand-held class 4 laser for about a month, also 3 x week.  He is a little less fatigued, but not sure if it&#8217;s from the laser.</p>

Taking zinc alone can deplete copper.  Also, has anyone heard about Azithromycin helping with PF?  It has reversed scarring in mice.  I think they are going to start trials.</p>

Did they put you on steroids? My dad was sent home with NOTHING. It progressed, just like all pneumonias do when left untreated. But because it was COVID, they said they do nothing! They all do this when left untreated.  ALL pneumonias can cause scarring if left untreated, and sometimes even when treated to a degree.  I feel like I&#8217;m living in a wacky world these days.  </p>
