can t get rid of phlegm, at least i can sleep well at nites, thaks to FLAMEX with codeine, but during the day lots of it,
spitting all day long, specially after meals…and exacerbations….best wishes

I hope this improves for your Jaime – so sorry to hear of your struggles with Phlegm. I can’t imagine how frustrating that must be! Might something be causing it to be more frequent as of late, like a cold virus? Hang in there and glad you’re getting some nighttime relief. Charlene.
Carlene, my phlegm is very clear, my dr said its normal for IPF, but since I m on 5mg a day Prednisone , its much better…other thing I found is the sweets, I cut down to half, also helps to reduce my phlegm,.. best regards from Chile

So nice to hear from you and even happier to hear that the phlegm is being reduced by less sugar/sweets intake and the prednisone. It’s interesting, some people with IPF have a dry, chronic cough and some have a productive cough with a lot of phlegm. I’m really glad you’ve found some things that are working for you, thanks for sharing them with us. Char.
