I have had COPD for around 5 years now & my last Ct Scan showed that the fibrosis has worsened & also shows 2 small honeycomb formations on the Scan. I am now diagnosed with IPF & trying to find out as much as I can about living with IPF & treatment, My Pulmonologist suggests I go on Esbriet to slow the progression of the IPF but I am not sure if I am ready to start at this time? I know it will drastically alter my life style from what I am reading about the side effects of this drug. Any help will be appreciated.
