Short Bio

I was diagnosed with IPF 4 years ago – just about the time the FDA gave approval for the 2 drugs used for this disease – Esbriet and Ofev.  After weeks of trial & error, I finally ended up on Ofev 100mg once a day. Not the recommended full dosage, but better than nothing. I am an active person, walk 3 miles a day, 5-6 days a week. My PFT tests remain stable. There are no support groups where I live, so I am very happy to read the posts in this newsletter. It is helpful. This latest post regarding the Class 4 cold laser therapy certainly has my attention and I will do some research. I’m grateful to be a part of this community.
