Thanks for your reply. I am on the extremely vulnerable list with government, I get letters from Matt Hancock at every change, so that’s good. I spoke with my gp and she tells me a lot of red tape is holding vaccination up in the countryside especially where I live. So I think I will just have to wait. I have a blood cancer as well, so I really…[Read more]

Well done Brian, I wonder when I will get it, 68 yes and on Ofev. I’m down the list because of my age.

I have athritic pain in my hips and knee and I was told the Ofev doesn’t mix with nsaids , so not to take. I have to have codeine which ofcourse doesn’t take down inflamation. When i take a break from Ofev i taked nsaids then, wonderful relief.
Take care and Happy Christmas

Here in the UK
1. over 80’s and those in front line medical staff first. Also those in care homes.
2. 75 yrs and over
3. 70 yrs + and those extremely vunerable with health issues (IPF).
4. 65 yrs +
And so on.
It seems quite fair here, just wish they would hurry up.

I have been on Ofev for nearly 4 weeks, no side effects for 1st week, 2nd week a bit of nausea only, then last week both hit, sickness and diarrohea. I had immodium to hand and they worked and had anti sickness drug which also worked. It seems to come after breakfast and have noticed that eggs and milk seem to start it off. Im hoping the side…[Read more]

Thank you Mark. My story is quite simple, this time last year I went from breathing normally and walking well. Over night I had a funny tingling sensation when I breathed in and then I found I was getting out of breath going upstairs. Later during August I went to see my GP who sent me for chest xray and they did a basic spirometry. The chest xray…[Read more]
