Heather is an idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis patient who faced a huge turn in her life when she was first diagnosed. In this video, shared by University of Maryland Medical Center, Heather talks about how IPF has affected her life, at the same time as Dr. Aldo Iacono, MD, Professor, Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at the University Of Maryland, discusses how a new and special protocol was extremely helpful to make it possible for Heather to get a lung transplant quickly.
