Daughters of PF Program Under PFF’s Wings
The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) recently announced it has acquired the Daughters of Pulmonary Fibrosis program from the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis (CPF), a 501c(3) nonprofit organization based in California that serves the pulmonary fibrosis (PF) community. By assuming the administration of the Daughters of PF program and giving the money raised through it back to the PF community, the Foundation will better advocate for, and support, caregivers’ needs.
“The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation has been inspired by the efforts of the Daughters program since its inception. We look forward to welcoming members of the Daughters program and making an even greater impact on behalf of the PF community,” said Patti Tuomey, EdD, President and CEO of the PFF, in a press release. “The Foundation will continue to cultivate the Daughters program as one of our signature programs, with an expanded focus on identifying and developing resources for the caregiver community.”
