Pulmonary fibrosis is a lung disease that causes the scarring of the lungs, resulting in breathing difficulties. The condition can affect anyone, at any age, although the patients most at risk are usually older patients. Unfortunately, up until now there is still no cure for pulmonary fibrosis but there are several treatments available to help ease the symptoms. In this video shared by Boehringer Ingelheim in 2014, listen to a patient’s story and testimony about how it is to live with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, how he was diagnosed and the types of symptoms he experienced.

Please note that the video is from 2014 and features an Italian patient, but is subtitled in English.
