Pulmonary fibrosis is a rare lung condition where tissue in the lungs becomes scarred and stiff, which can lead to difficulties in breathing, a persistent cough, fatigue and weight loss. Often the cause is due to environmental factors or other health complications such as scleroderma or rheumatoid arthritis, but if no other cause is established, it’s called idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).
In this video from Videobred, we meet Mike Olsen who was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in 2014. Mike talks about his symptoms, his treatment options, and how he is trying to get the best out of his life.
