9 Things You Shouldn’t Say to Someone With a Chronic Illness

Again, just because you don’t see the disease, doesn’t mean it’s not there. How you’re feeling may not be visible, but that doesn’t mean you don’t feel extremely tired, that you don’t end up exhausted by climbing a few stairs, or that you don’t feel sick to your stomach. Even a fever can be “invisible.”

It’s totally normal to suffer from symptoms that stop you from doing what other people do, even though they may not show.

  1. Art Sellers says:

Oh my it is so difficult to read these 9 things that I should not say to my wife about her lung condition: the right arrow does not advance to the next next thing, it keeps forwarding the first thing, the text is hard to read because of the picture behind that makes the text hard to see. Why not just list the 9 things?

Hi Art. Thank you for the valuable information regarding our list page. We continue to work on the way that we present the information that is best for everyone.

Like Mr. Sellers I have complained about articles by this young woman before, that you can never get beyond page 1. Back then, I was told that the problem will be corrected. Well, this article and several others exhibit the same problem. Nothing is getting fixed, Mr. Bossie.
