Sometimes people just want to be nice, so they might say things that seem fine in their heads but it doesn’t come out as they thought. If you have a chronic illness, it means you will have to live with that disease for the rest of your life. Sure, you will have ups and downs and some moments will be better than others, and at some point you will feel better, but the disease will always be with you.

Even though they might want to show you support, saying that things will get better is not fair. Living with a chronic illness is like being on a roller coaster all the time; you can’t predict what’s going to happen next.

  1. Art Sellers says:

Oh my it is so difficult to read these 9 things that I should not say to my wife about her lung condition: the right arrow does not advance to the next next thing, it keeps forwarding the first thing, the text is hard to read because of the picture behind that makes the text hard to see. Why not just list the 9 things?

Hi Art. Thank you for the valuable information regarding our list page. We continue to work on the way that we present the information that is best for everyone.

Like Mr. Sellers I have complained about articles by this young woman before, that you can never get beyond page 1. Back then, I was told that the problem will be corrected. Well, this article and several others exhibit the same problem. Nothing is getting fixed, Mr. Bossie.
