If your life were a movie….
Living with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is hard and often filled with serious conversations, medical appointments, and other dreariness. Let’s have some fun!
Recently, a fellow moderator from another Bionews site posted this question on their forum site and it sparked some fun conversations: if your life were a movie, which one would it be?
I would say mine would be Soul Surfer. This movie is the story of Bethany Hamilton’s recovery and return to a sport she loves after losing her arm to a shark bite off the coast of Hawaii. This isn’t my favourite movie because I am a good surfer, athlete, or anything like that, but her overall message is about not letting setbacks or adversity stop you from doing what you love. This is a message I can relate to, especially while living with IPF as a young adult!
What’s yours and why?
