• OFEV and advanced IPF

I’m considering starting ofev but I am advanced in my disease. I’m on 4 to 5 lpm oxygen 24-7, I’m taking a steroid and a liver transplant from 2012 on tachrolimus and myfortic for rejection. My doctors have all supported ofev but my concern was for my liver. Now I’m at a point where I’m ready to take the chance. I’m not asking for medical advice, just want to hear if anyone else started ofev in an advanced stage? Thanks

I am getting an antifibrotic from Russia for $85 (not approved in the USA), being treated for long COVID and vaccine injury, also IPF. Should get it next week, the doctors patients have had good luck with it so nothing to lose!

Thanks Denny, I did start the ofev and it nearly took me out. I know there are options. We have someone who just joined the forum in Brazil. They, her husband, are heads of an institution of study. I’m reaching out to see where they are. Keep looking man, if you find anything holler. 😃
