Halloween and Thanksgiving are both behind us. Christmas is just over three weeks away. This holiday period, you know, the time we transition from pumpkin spice lattes to spiked egg nog, is often stressful. For those with a chronic progressive disease like pulmonary fibrosis, it can be even more stressful. Stress can be exhausting.

Take time for yourself during the holidays. Do not feel bad about it. Take a moment to pause. If you are tired, rest. If you are overwhelmed excuse yourself for some quiet time.

Do you find the holidays stressful? If so, how do you take care of yourself?
