My oxygen provider gave me a plug-in portable concentrator for overnight travel. When I tried to use it it started beeping and I couldn’t sleep. There was a message about air purity not being good. What does this mean? Is this a serious problem and how can it be fixed?

Yes that is a significant problem & you need to report it to your oxygen provider so they can fix or replace it.

You can check model and possibly buy new internal – external filter or replace a new sieve bed from online sources but problem might be in the computer board that’s faulty. Fault codes found in manual or online. I had G5 go bad with board where filters/sieve had no effect and but my G3 just I dropped in new sieve and worked as new.

Your reply was the most informative of any I received. Thank you. I will be sure to let my oxygen provider know what could have been wrong with the portable unit they gave for overnight use. They didn’t seem to know what was wrong or what caused the problem. It is so hard to get any information about oxygen use. There seems to be a big grey area.
