Using a Spiralizer for Healthier Meal Options.
I know through previous forum posts, that healthy eating is a popular topic among this wonderful, online community. As a result, I wanted to share with you something that has been instrumental in helping me choose healthier meal options, which is one of my overall goals for 2019. More specifically, I am trying to significantly reduce the amount of sugar and carbs I consume. While this isn’t something I eat a lot of or regularly, I find within myself that I feel a lot better when I cut these things out of my diet, not to mention the health benefits of doing so as well.
For Christmas, I was lucky enough to receive a gift that has been so helpful in achieving this goal and I wanted to share it with you all. Do any of you currently own or use a spiralizer on a regular basis? This little device makes it so much easier for me to make healthy meals, and it doesn’t require too much energy either. The other night, instead of making chicken alfredo with pasta noodles, I substituted for zucchini thin noodles and could hardly taste a difference! I love using this little machine to help reduce my carbohydrate consumption.
Since many of you on this forum have expressed an interest in healthier eating, I thought I’d ask if any of you used a spiralizer, and if so: do you have any delicious, and healthy recipes to share with us?
