        Hello all! I worked in computers in a former life so anything to do with advancement in technology interests me quite a bit. I’ve read about how a Radiologist in the UK is working on systems that automatically detect fibrosis on lung scans to help improve the diagnosis rates (I’ll post about this below). This piece of news suggests something similar is being done with diagnosing lung cancer and has been quite successful in early trials. Hopefully this means more funding for research which will aid new tech into circulation. Incredible!

        This is really interesting Katie, thanks for sharing! I’m going to spend some time thoroughly checking out the links this afternoon. Reliable technology will do so much good for our healthcare system in the future, as long as people continue to fund it. Here’s hoping!
