Was diagnosed with IPF in 2009. Sought a second opinion. Second pulmonologist said it wasn’t, but didn’t know what it was. Whatever it was, it remained stable until 2018. Then it went stable again. Since then there have been progressions. The doctor saw me once a year to check if it was getting worse, On my CT scan this month, scarring was dramatically increased. (Had already had the PFTs and 6-minute walk test. Now I am waiting for blood work to be analyzed.
