Why can’t they prescribe this off-label? Why do they do that with some drugs but not others? My mom was given an antipsychotic for pain!!! We never knew. She was in a daze all the time. It wasn’t until I looked up the side effects of the drug. That’s when I realized what they had given her. Apparently they will give anti psych drugs for pain, headache, and anxiety. Can you imagine? So, if they can give you something as heavy as an anti psych drug, why can’t they use some of these other drugs off label? The doc can monitor his own patient. To me, sounds like money making BS. I worked for an FDA attorney years ago, and he said, the more a file is open, the more the trial goes on, the more money that they make. When the trial stops, the funding stops.

Has anyone tried a flax seed oil regimen? I have read a few studies that showed it helps dissolve scarring.

I hear of so many people taking Serapeptase, and many seem to have positive results. However, I see that this enzyme can CAUSE pneumonia. I am just wondering how those of you who have tried it feel comfortable taking it? Is there something else you take to counter the possibility of developing pneumonia? Thank you!

Thank you. Do you take Metformin for blood sugar issues or for the fibrosis? I read that Metformin can actually reverse fibrosis.

Meanwhile there are SO MANY drugs that have shown promise in animal trials. But they are not moving forward with humans. SAD.

The stem cell therapy for lung fibrosis it done through blood, not marrow. Even if it works, I’m sure the government agencies will kabash it for whatever reason. Too many politics in the way of everything today.

Hello. I too have done some research on this and would love to find someone who has tried it. There are so many trials with rats and mice that have shown success, but why no trials on humans? I know there are some, but not many at all.
