I am a long time oxygen user, 7 years and I don’t trust my smart watch.

As to oxygen level drops into the 80’s, I walk 25 feet and my level drops into the 70’s, so you are OK. I am on 10 liters a minute, it takes me 5-10 minutes to return to mid 90’s.

I have the old wrist band monitor and it works great but after reading your comment I found the ring on Amazon for $143 + tax

I just ordered it so I can wear it during the day.

I have IPF and on 8.5 liters of oxygen continuously

Please keep up your exercise and think positive.
Sorry about your loss, my wife passed away in December 2020

I was diagnosed with IPF in 2014 at the age of 71, I am 80 years old now and yes I have gone down hill so to speak. I have been on Oxygen since 2015 and have also take Esbriet.

So don’t worry about numbers, just keep healthy and as the song goes One Day at a time sweet Jesus

I have been taking EGCG green tea extract off and on for months but afer reading the article I will start using it every day.

I am 80 years old and have had IPF for 8 years.

I am on 6 liters of oxygen 24/7 and have for 5 years.

I also take Esbriet, so maybe the green tea will help some but at my age I can’t expect much.

    3-5 is just numbers
I am 80 years old and have had IPF since 2014

I am on oxygen continuously but can still get out and do some things like shopping but just have to walk slower or use my electric scooter.

So just eat healthy, get some beetroot capsules from the store, I ordered mine from Amazon. They help your energy.

Find a good pulmonary doctor who can treat you and you can live a long life, btw did I mention I still ride my motorcycle some, just have to take my oxygen bottle with me.

I was diagnosed in 2014 and on oxygen starting in January 2015.
Take Esbriet and nitric oxide from a pump connected to my oxygen system.

I am stable with a 50% lung capacity.

I ride my Motorcycle weather permitting, also have a Convertible sports car that I drive.

I am 80 years old and a widower who loves riding my motorcycle, I strap my oxygen tank on the back and away I ride. Last ride was 96 miles, only stopped for gas and stop 🛑 signs.

With all that said, think positive and follow the doctor’s orders and enjoy your life.

I am 80 years old and had IPF for 8 years, I am on oxygen continuously and get short of breath even on 8 liters of oxygen. I have a Mazda Miata convertible and ride with the top down and the fresh air along with my oxygen tank really helps me to relax.

I also have a Honda motorcycle that I ride when I really feel good, just have to strap my oxygen tank on the back of the seat.

so don’t give up, think positive.
