I was diagnose about 12 years ago due my phewmonia in the hospital after several doctors i was put on a spray for my lungs at that time I was diagnose with COPD after a few years went by with no improvement my GP suggest that I make an appointment with a Pulmany Dr. went to see him about 6 years ago started me on Esbriet bad reactions changed to Ofathing test stayed with this medication for two years started to have bad reaction my doctor took me off all medication for pulmany Fibrosis this will be my fifth year with no medication only thing I take is Zinc daily 50 MG I believe this has stoped the growing of the fibrosis since I went to Zinc for about 5 years no growth in the fibrosis I pass all my breathing test my Oxygen level runs between 94 up to 98 never used Oxygen I’m turning 86 in September can’t complain

I was diagnosed 10 years ago my pulmonary doctor put me on Esbriet could only sty on for three months due to side effects he decided for me to start on Ofev that was good for about 5 years side effects started especially diarrhea he took me off for six months took X-rays saw no changes he told me to stay off for another six months he did X-rays saw no changes so he decided to stay off medication for a year and do X-rays up to now I’m checked once a year so far no growth it’s been about 4 years also my oxygen has been between 94-98 I’m not sure but during these time’s I’ve been taken 50 Mg of Zinc not sure if it helps but it’s not having any side effects I’d check on Zinc data

Yes I believe in Zinc I’ve had IPF for over 10 years I’m 85 now my pulmonary doctor took me off Ofev Three years ago and every year my X-ray shows no more fibrosis growing no Oxygen my Ox level is 94 up to 98 I’m a big believer in Zinc

I’ve been taken 50 MG daily for several years no side effects so far

I never took a liquid form only a daily tablet
