    Hi I understand completely.My birthday is coming up on the 6,and with the holidays here, I’m not in usual happy mood.2Flare ups in 30 days.O2 up to 6 lt.24/7 and heart rate in the 140 + with standing up.Sorry.I’m glad you had a “new normal” birthday.I wish you Christmas blessings and feel better.You’re not alone

    In the hospital,with the 2nd flare up in 2 months.Heart rate in the120s.This disease is hell.On oxygen 24/7 at 5.I’ m sorry for everyone who has this

    Hi.I’m fine till start to get out of bed.Everymorning,my level goes, between 88 and 70,along with mucus.Was diagnosed 3 years ago.I have to sit down for a few minutes.I failed my last 6min.walk.I hope everyone gets the help you deserve.Praying for you 💖💖💖 No I’m not on oxygen, I’m self pay,and can not afford it.

    Hi.I was diagnosed 3 years ago,not yet on oxygen.Mornings are the worst, alright as long as I’m laying flat,as soon I sit up,put my feet on the floor, coughing starts, mucus.This is about one hour.You’re not alone in your battle, everyone here, understandsWe’re here for you and your family

    Sorry you’re having this problem,but at times I do the same thing.,have had ipf for 3 yrs.trying to talk ,feels like it’s taking everything out of me.Good luck You’re not alone.

    Hi.I’m 63 yrs,3yrs with ipf.I’m a pet bird rescuer.have had up to 150 ,down to 7.I was told my birds,caused ipf .I don’t believe them.Anytime we’re outside,the critters are around us I did not get of my birds,the damage is done, whatever caused it.My birds are my joy.I wish you well

    I’m 63,have ipf so far no oxygen,but will not have a lung transplant.I’m the sole care taker of a special needs daughter who has health issues,also my husband is 80 and early stages of dementia.Good luck to everyone who has this awful disease.My coughing is getting worse.But I’ll get through this

    Hi Gavin.I understand completely.I was diagnosed almost 3 years ago.I’m not on oxygen yet.I too panicked at night,I found using a small fan blowing on low towards my face helps me breathe.Check your oxygen meter right before you doze off,then turn the fan and breathe the fresh air.Helps me,and I’m 63.Wishing you the well.
