According to a report on wgntv.com, Maureen was one of more than 2,000 climbers who participated in the event which saw them scaling West Madison’s Presidential Towers—four towers, equaling a total of 180 floors. The “Fight for Air Climb” took place earlier this month, and had employees from local businesses and Chicago-area firefighters working together to complete the arduous trek.

The American Lung Association hopes to have raised more than $550,000 from the event and the organization hosts the event in numerous cities across the nation.
