IPF Patient Talks About the Importance of Medical Data
In this PatientsLikeMe video shared in 2015, we meet Brian Kincaid. Brian had been diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and turned to Patients Like Me for online support and information regarding the disease. He became a member of the organization’s team of advisors, offering support to other IPF patients.
Sadly, Brian passed away from complications of the disease in 2014, but he had a positive attitude towards life and IPF. He felt that by sharing his medical data and information with Patients Like Me it would aid future research and help other patients going through the same thing.
