If the lung function in patients with chronic lung disease such as pulmonary fibrosis declines too much, they may need to undergo a lung transplant. In this amusing animated video from Alt Shift X shared in June 2013, we look at lung transplants and what role the immune system plays in accepting or rejecting transplanted lungs.
