Long Non-Coding RNAs Regulate Lung Fibroblasts’ Inflammation & Proliferation
Long Non-Coding RNAs are responsible for proliferation and inflammation in lung fibroblasts’, according to a recent study. Receiving an accurate diagnosis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is often complicated and complex, partially because the exact cause of origin for this disease is still widely unknown. However, many physicians see a benefit to further understanding the role that Long Non-Coding RNA’s have in the development of lung fibroblasts; a primary cause of fibrosis in a number of pulmonary diseases. Physicians continue to work hard at further understanding Long Non-Coding RNAs, and research is thoroughly examining the role of these molecules and how they contribute to lung fibroblast development.
