Introducing The Pulmonary Fibrosis News Multimedia Initiative
Forum members:
As a topic today we are promoting the multimedia section of our Pulmonary Fibrosis News website. Every Monday and Thursday, the Director of Multichannel Content – Michael Morale – will record a flash briefing regarding a popular topic pertaining to pulmonary fibrosis. Most of the sound bites are under 5 minutes in length but are full of useful information. The flash briefings are a new way to introduce and share content with you. They will be and currently are in addition to the columns and forum posts by co-moderators Charlene Marshall and Mark Koziol.
You might be wondering what a flash briefing is, or how you can access it. Flash briefings are audio files you can listen to on your computer, smart phone and on your Amazon Echo device. We will be showcasing a number of different topics using this new method of reaching our forum members, and we’d love to hear from you. What topics are you interested in hearing about on the flash briefings? Message Charlene Marshall and/or Mark Koziol and let them know!
The flash briefings can be accessed by hovering over the multimedia tab in the upper right hand corner of The Pulmonary Fibrosis News homepage (www.pulmonaryfibrosisnews.com). A drop-down menu will appear and you can click on the flash briefings tab.
You can also access the flash briefings by clicking on this link.
When you access this link the flash briefings will appear in chronological order beginning with the most recent flash briefing. You can access each flash briefing by scrolling down on the right side of the titled topics.
What do you think about this new initiative from PF News to showcase flash briefings on various topics?
We hope that this will be one more easy way to get information out to the IPF/PF community!
