Andrew Mooney was diagnosed with IPF nine years ago. His wife, Lyn, has been his constant support. After the initial Google search into IPF, the life expectancy of three to five years from diagnosis left Andrew devastated. Gradually, he has learned more about the condition, and found a support group. The pandemic has been a struggle to navigate, but Andrew tries to keep a positive attitude, and not let IPF control him.

In this community, he has found so much support, and he is so grateful.

Andrew, we wish you nothing but the best!

Having a community is so important. Do you agree, PF Community? What benefits have you felt from reaching out to fellow PF /IPF patients?

Andrew’s story is on our Instagram! Go check it out and do give us a follow so you don’t miss out on any #30DaysofPF stories. We are almost at the end of the month! And we are so grateful you are taking this journey with us 🙂
