My 88 year old Mom with advanced IPF has been experiencing hot flashes several times a day and night for the past 2 months. We thought it was the Prednisone but she’s been off of it entirely for 2 weeks and they are not decreasing. The visiting RN said many of her lung patients get hot flashes, but gave no reason for them. Is it really just from the previous prednisone use? Other causes?
