It’s no secret that idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is an exhausting illness for patients, both mentally and physically. I am very protective of my Sundays lately and do not commit to doing anything except things around the house that will set me up for a successful work week.
I enjoy a hot cup of coffee out of a cup (vs. a travel mug at my work computer) and then putter around the house doing things I enjoy. I like to call this my Sunday “reset” and it just makes the week a lot less chaotic, and allows me to preserve my energy by having things like laundry done, some meals prepped and other things organized around the house.
Do you enjoy a Sunday “reset”?
What types of things do you do on the weekend to set yourself up for success during the week and preserve your physical energy as much as possible?
