Has anyone’s blood pressure gone up since diagonosed with PF ?
Yes Mack. Mine has and I’m having to now take blood pressure medicine! Historically, I’ve always had low blood pressure. Last year, I was diagnosed with NSIP and Bronchiectasis. At the same time, I was diagnosed with HBP. I was 63 years old. The hits just keep on coming!
Higher BP seems to be a pretty common comorbidity of PF. I’m sure others will chime in on the subject. Pulmonary hypertension can be a secondary diagnosis of PF too.
Yes went on ofev then switch to esbriet now ok.
I have stopped OFEV three times since last October due to BP increases. Each time BP has returned to normal. Hope to switch to Esbriet.
Thanks for the responses. I’m 78 and always had low blood pressure until diagnosed with PF in May 2021.
