Cardiopulmonary exercise (CPET)

I have not had this test, as part of my polumnary tests.

i did do a similar test as an athlete and stress study while in high school and college.

from what I researched and remember it is testing how oxygen is being used in the body.

could be Canadian, or just your medical team.

my medical team is with the VA here in the US.

I had the CT scan and the breathing test done before my diagnosis. I live in Florida and was diagnosed 2 yrs ago.

In the U.S. it is typical to do a CT scan & a pulmonary function test (PFT), then sometimes a biopsy to diagnose IPF.  A CPET is not typical here, but could give lots of information about how your body is utilizing oxygen.
