• What is clubbing of the fingers and toes in PF?

Posted by Community Member on April 26, 2018 at 9:12 am

If a person has had PF for a long time without receiving treatment, the lack of oxygen in the blood lead to clubbing of the fingers and toes (digital clubbing).

Although the exact reason for this is unknown, we do know it occurs when pools of fluid appear at the ends of the fingers and toes creating a rounding effect.

Have you experienced digital clubbing? Do you have any tips on how to manage it?
