Drug Induced IPF (unknown cause) Meds?

No to your 4 questions although I have been on aspirin for years and was briefly on Esbriet. I was diagnosed about 1.5 years ago with a lung biopsy, but my IPF came on suddenly possibly 6 months earlier. I have tested positive for blood markers for rheumatoid arthritis, but it is only in my lungs. I play the guitar and have no joint pain! Interestingly, the VA has awarded me 100% disability for IPF due to radiation exposure while serving on a nuclear submarine 50 years ago! I guess at this point it would be considered interstitial and not idiopathic. In either case, the treatment is the same and there is no cure.

My lung issues started out with a head cold, bronchitis, and pneumonia, which put junk in my lungs. 3 years later I got Covid pneumonia which made my fibrosis grow. That when they started calling it IPF . My research points to viruses can cause PF. Western meds don’t know how to deal with viruses
