What Brings You Joy?
Hello Forum Members,
So often we talk about how our disease makes us feel, forces us to act (ie. give up hobbies we might have previously enjoyed) and how it changes our lives from what we used to know, to what we now are able to do. For myself, I often talk about the things I used to enjoy but cannot anymore and I sometimes am guilty of not focusing enough on the things that I still can do that bring me joy. And so, I wanted to ask all of you: what are some things that bring you joy, despite your PF/IPF diagnosis?
I wanted to share a column I shared about one of the biggest joys in my life, which is my two year old golden retriever. I hope you enjoy this column: https://pulmonaryfibrosisnews.com/2017/12/14/best-ipf-therapy-is-my-dog/ about what brings me so much joy and comfort despite my disease. What about you? What are some things that still bring you joy? I look forward to hearing from you.
