Sorry about your mom. Make sure she does breathing exercises. There is a device called The Breather. You can get it on Amazon. She should do that twice a day..about ten times each time. There are also important supplements like vitamin D, zinc, melatonin, and omega 3’s. Cordycep mushrooms help too. There is also an enzyme called serrapeptase and nattokinase that may help remove some scarring, and help with coughing. But some people have stomach issues with it. THe other thing is see a chiropractor…they do laser light therapy, and soft tissue massage, which is beneficial.

Does anyone know if it’s safe to take gainer shakes? The ones that are over 1000 calories? There are a few that have no sugar in them.

Try Benecalorie. You can add them to smooties or coffee. Each cup has about 330 calories. I get them on amazon. Also, Quest makes chocolate chip cookies that have 250 calories and are sugar free.

Zinc supplements need to be taken with copper. Taking zinc alone can deplete copper. Also, has anyone heard about Azithromycin helping with PF? It has reversed scarring in mice. I think they are going to start trials.

The ones online are not Class IV lasers which is what the chiropractors have. They may not be as strong, and not penetrate as deep. But please let us know if you feel a benefit from using the one you bought. You never know…

Steve how soon before you felt relief? My dad has been having it done three x week. He had 23 sessions. Before that he was getting the hand-held class 4 laser for about a month, also 3 x week. He is a little less fatigued, but not sure if it’s from the laser.

Please let us know if you see positive changes from the Serrapeptase and Nattokinase.

Recently read that Azithromycin might help with fibrosis…i think it actually showed to reduce fibrosis in mice.

Are you taking supplements that help with inflammation? Vitamin D, Zinc, melatonin 20 mg, omega 3’s.

Try this right after you eat and see if it helps your sugar…if you ever find that your blood sugar is high. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prF0d4pm7j0

Yes, I feel like these are not new exercises. Well, the humming one was, but the other one is not. Either way, I do believe that breathing exercises are beneficial.

Kim, how do you know that it’s not the ovef that has made you better? Thank you for sharing this information.

Thank you for sharing this exciting news.

Hi Steve. Can you tell me about your experience with laser therapy? How many times a week do you get it, and how long before you felt some relief? Thank you!

This is impressive. I’ve seen other studies as well. BUT, no one here is talking about the potential for developing pneumonia with serrapeptase. Is the chance very low? Is there something one could do to avoid getting pneumonia while on serrapeptase?

Are you taking a blood thinner?
-
Hi Millie. Does the cupping/deep tissue massage help with your breathing? Thank you.
-
Hi. Did you happen to come across issues with developing pneumonia while taking Serrapeptase? I am not reading anything about that from anyone here on this forum, yet when I do a google search, the information is there.
-
Hi. Where do you live? I thought they only did this kind of treatment in a few countries.
Thank you.

He is bringing something to the table. If he hadn’t talked about PRP I wouldn’t have known about it. And from what I understand, it can be a very beneficial lung therapy. BTW, stem cell and PRP are not THAT different. There are different kinds of stem cell therapies, they are different, but also similar. The end result is supposed to be the same. They scavenge out inflammation. I realize there are different threads for different things, but don’t tell someone to stop bringing information forward. I am also on another site out of the UK where people get so side-tracked they post a bunch of minutia of their day to day lives. THAT, I could do without.

I agree 100% with you! I’m glad he brought this to this conversation.
-
Can you say what the other supplements are that you take?
-
Ben, thank you for bringing this to the table. Some people live life with blinders on…and are happy that way. I just don’t understand why they have to be nasty just because they don’t agree with someone else’s views…especially when they don’t even know what it’s all about. Please don’t stop sharing any ideas, or information you may find.

Hi Dr. Hall.
First off, thank you for working so hard to get your information our there, and for your efforts in starting a trial. Most doctors repeat what they’ve learned in med school and don’t dare think outside the box. In my opinion, that’s what separates a good doctor from a great one.
I came across this study https://www.fiziomedica.ro/Docum/Reduction-of-Post-Covid-Pulmonary-Fibrosis-and-Bronchiectasis-by-Physiotherapy-.pdf.
In addition to laser therapy, it includes three other modalities, one being exercise. The case study was of a 65 year old male with massive lung damage post COVID. The result was remission. No more scarring on his lungs. I am hoping this study is legitimate. They used an MLS multi-locked system, although it’s still a class 4 laser, could it be more powerful? They also did a total of 28 minutes, 14 each side. My question to you is, have you ever tried applying the laser for longer periods of time to see if you would get better results? This study was done for ten days in a row.Thank you!
