As winter is hard upon us I’m trying to come up with a way to continue walking my dog outside. Coat, boots, pants,, hat & gloves all good but looking for a solution to the canola air/problem. I’ve tried scarfs and different types of gators but can’t come up with anything that’s not shortly soaked with moisture from exhalation. In Minnesota that can freeze in a matter of minutes. Any suggestions?

I have similar concerns here in Ontario. It would probably be a good idea to contact your Oxygen supplier for guidance. My worry is not just the cannula but the POC itself. If you wrap it so that freezing air won’t get to it you also won’t be getting any air from which to extract and concentrate the O2. I vaguely remember seeing something in the original documentation saying that it shouldn’t be used in extreme cold.

Anyone else have experience on this topic?

You might try walking at your local mall or Home Depot or Lowes. In my town all of these places allow walks indoor, with dogs. That way you can get in your laps without slipping on the ice.

Both good suggestions! I plan on getting a larger size coat so my machine can go inside the coat as well and actually went “mall walking” yesterday. I also bought a Serius polartec combo scarf https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018BGFF4?SubscriptionId=AKIAIBX4MGJBG42TO3NQ&tag=productsbestrv85760-20&asc_source=google&asc_campaign=99096&asc_refurl=https%3A%2F%2Fbestreviews.com%2Fbest-seirus-face-mask&cid=99

    which I think might work.
