Started just 5 days ago and finding pain in my liver area. I do have liver disease,  but was going to have it monitored by blood tests. I’m going to stop it now and infom the Dr. I guess what’s worse liver disease or lung disease?

Started taking OFEV a few days ago. No issues so far, but have a liver disease that needs to blood tested once a month. I’m hoping I can continue.

I bought Nusapure off of Amazon. The recommended dosage from them is 2 capsules per day, and they are 1000mg. I am going to stay with the one capsule per day. I just started this a few days ago, so nothing to report as of yet, by the way they are made in the USA.

What I am impressed with is that this study was reported in the, New England Journal of Medicine.

I guess my question is with this disease and the known eventuality why wouldn’t someone with advanced IPF be willing to  test some of these drugs. I know I would sign over any liability to anyone or Co. that was willing to use me, knowing I had little options.

My hope and as I have mentioned on the forums here is, with all the research being done on covid-19 it will lead to some type of treatment or cure to PF.

Let’s hope, your right. Unfortunately it has to be at the expense of others. The only thing I am worried about are those who will suffer now from fibrosis due to covid -19.

I think this forum is a good start by getting the word out. It will tend to have an osmosis effect in the pulmonary research field. We all need to advocate for a cure for this disease.

I’m in the exact same situation. I have to assume no one is going to do all two problems, and /i don’t mean at the same time. I guess I’m screwed.
